Page 13: it’s pretty dry out here

 One more page in this first half of the chapter, then a one or two page tutorial interlude, then onwards to the second half. I finally got an iPad, and I'm kicking myself for being so snooty about them for so long. It has nowhere *near* the finesse of my Cintiq, but for sketching, layout, block coloring? It's a godsend. Clip Studio -which has completely replaced Photoshop for me- is 100% full featured and syncs between devices.

Between that and ColorBloq, which has an insane amount of assets/figure refereces, I can see why the kids don't just have a leg up these days- they're on a completely different playing field.
