Take a It’s a clenching in your heart, an anchor of doubt and yes, sometimes fear. Even if you’re the type of person who plans every detail  (I am not a planner of any sort), you can worry about timing, unknowns, missing things. You can worry about whether you have everything, if you’ve forgotten something, whether your car is up to it, if anything will go wrong at home. Take a deep breath. It’s a simple (and, yes, somewhat cliche) thing. It’s a break from the spinning thoughts. It’s a reminder that you can move forward without looking back. Home will be there when you return. I am getting a good stride with this comic, while experimenting with art styles, as I will likely be for a while. I’ve decided to just..be OK with that- instead of limiting myself by saying ‘I’m going to do this all the same’, I will let my art and execution grow and change naturally. If I have to come back and re-draw later for publication, so be it. I hope you all don’t mind bearing with me as I go- we go- through this artistic journey. Like a road trip, I’m excited to see where it leads us.
